DRONES

GOING WHERE HUMANS CAN'T
Drones

Many of us think of drones purely in their consumer function as remote-controlled, flying machines used for entertainment, and capturing high-definition photos and videos. However, there is an ever-expanding range of commercial applications for drones forecast to become big business.

In 2018, researchers at Barclays estimated how the global commercial drone market would grow 10 times from $4 billion to reach $40 billion in five years. The same experts believed using drones in business could lead to cost savings of approximately $100 billion. Opportunities exist in countless industries and sectors including defense, transportation, logistics, agriculture, manufacturing, media, and many others.

Why do we care?

Drones are poised to create immeasurable economic value over the coming decades. Many enterprises have already implemented these technologies to reduce costs, automate repetitive tasks, and increase productivity. The number of organizations and sectors assessing their potential is only expected to increase rapidly.
