What to Expect

1. Initial Application

After submitting the first part of the application, founders should receive a response from Brinc’s team within one week about whether they are still under consideration and details on information for the next phase of the application process.

2. Selection

Top applications will be interviewed by Brinc’s team. If startups submit all required application materials quickly, it is possible to move from initial application to “shortlist” within two to three weeks.

3. Opportunities for Investment

Startups will be presented to a curated group of investors and will be eligible for investment up to US$200K. Additional calls will take place with relevant applicants to determine final terms on a case-by-case basis. Valuation ranges are typically US$2-10M. A small subset of top applicants will be allowed to enter the program even if they are not selected by syndicate partners.

4. Fundraising Support

All participating startups will receive long-term support from Brinc’s portfolio team. While funding cannot be guaranteed, Brinc will work with companies to connect with investors and close capital during or shortly after the program end date.

5. Cost

Brinc charges US$35,000 as a program fee to provide the necessary resources to each participating company. Payment of this fee is required only after startups receive investment from Brinc’s syndicate partners or Brinc’s support during and after the program. All startups participating in programs enter into an advisory share agreement with Brinc, aligned to long-term support by Brinc’s portfolio team.
