Brinc had a busy Hong Kong Crypto Week, which included appearances at FOMO Asia Genesis Conference, WOW Summit and ending with the Brinc & Outlier Ventures — Investor Pitch Day.
ADVANCING THE ADOPTION OF BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY
FOMO Asia Genesis Conference saw 114 speakers join the world’s first movement to build trust for global Web3 communities. Brinc’s Joseph Ho, Program Director of Health Tech (Hong Kong), moderated a panel that discussed the developments and innovation in Web3 in Southeast Asia.
“It’s exciting to see Web3’s popularity proliferate in Southeast Asia,” Ho said. “With its young, digitally savvy population, ASEAN is ripe for technological innovation, and we’re already beginning to see game-changing ideas and business models generated.”

TRANSITIONING FROM WEB2 TO WEB3
Brinc hosted a booth at the WOW (World of Web3) Summit HK, alongside its portfolio teams Another-1, Coinmiles, MetaGameHub DAO, and Sky Meta. Marking WOW Summit’s Hong Kong debut — after previously being hosted in Dubai and Lisbon — it was the city’s first large-scale Web3-focused event since its borders reopened and pandemic restrictions were lifted in early 2023.
With the Hong Kong government officially announcing its strong commitment to developing the city as a prolific Web3 and Virtual Assets hub, 5,000+ attendees from around the world joined lively talks, fireside chats, and panel discussions on the industry’s exciting future.

The event also saw Brinc’s Belinda Pham, Web3/Blockchain Portfolio Manager (Hong Kong), join a panel discussion on the benefits and risks that accelerators face during startup growth. “Going through an accelerator program provides product validation, traction, and fundraising opportunities from institutional investors,” she said. “Startups graduating from these programs are on a path to a scalable business model, have early indicators of viability, and — most importantly — growth and adaptation throughout the course and proof of ability to execute.”
INVESTOR PITCH DAY
To conclude Hong Kong Crypto Week, Brinc and Outlier Ventures co-hosted their Investor Pitch Day on March 31, showcasing the latest exciting Web3 projects. The opener fireside chat, titled What’s Next in the Metaverse?, featured Sebastien Borget, COO and Co-Founder of The Sandbox, and Walter Jennings, CEO of Asia Insight Circle.

Brinc portfolio teams (Another-1, Coinmiles, MetaGameHub DAO, and Sky Meta) were joined by Lost Club Toys and Scrye — all Brinc program graduates — to deliver lively pitches to investors.
The events during Hong Kong Crypto Week offered countless opportunities for those in the Web3 space to network with like-minded individuals and hear the latest from industry leaders who had gathered from across the globe. With renewed excitement, backed by international interest and local government support, the future of Web3 is looking ripe for innovation and growth in the region, with Hong Kong moving full steam ahead.
