Brinc and NDC collaboration to support entrepreneurs in Philippines

Brinc has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the National Development Company (NDC) in the Philippines, a state-owned enterprise mandated to function as the government’s investment arm. Marking a significant milestone in Brinc’s commitment to supporting startups across the globe, this strategic partnership is set to create new opportunities for technological and entrepreneurial growth in the Philippines, in alignment with Brinc’s mission to accelerate the journey of visionary entrepreneurs. It highlights Brinc’s role as a catalyst for positive change in emerging markets.

Aligned with the Philippine government’s objectives to promote an inclusive and innovative financial sector, the MOU aims to support the growth of startups across multiple sectors. Brinc and NDC will work together to provide startups with access to resources, expertise, and networks to help them scale and make a significant impact.

“This alliance signifies a remarkable leap forward in innovation. Having Brinc on board as our knowledge partner opens up a world of possibilities,” states Jerahmeel Chen, Chief Innovation Officer at NDC. “We’re excited to facilitate access for Philippine startups to valuable resources and funding opportunities via Brinc’s extensive network. Additionally, this creates an avenue for the Philippine Innovation Hub to achieve the planned expansion in two strategic locations: Hong Kong and Dubai.”

NDC has developed, financed, and implemented pioneering projects vital to the sustainability of the government’s structural reforms and economic development. Over the years, NDC has evolved and has succeeded in its role, as it has had a hand in establishing several companies which were at the forefront of their respective industries. NDC is engaged in helping the country achieve self-sufficiency, and Brinc, fostering innovation across multiple sectors, recognizes the interconnectedness of its goals with that of NDC.
