The THero Global Startup Competition is returning this year to find the best startups looking to bring their businesses to China. The competition will introduce startups to Chinaās rapidly expanding technology ecosystem while providing all the tools necessary to succeed in the worldās fastest growing market.
The Chinese market represents a huge opportunity for startups, although it requires a lot of support, education and access to the network in order to enter it and succeed. The competition works with local partners to help overseas startups leverage our expertise in terms of manufacturing, consumer markets, access to funds and more.
The competition is looking for any startup with the intention to expand their business to China. Startups will be judged on the following criteria:

- Innovation and creativity

- Impact of the technology/product/service

- Why the business is relevant to Chinese consumers, corporates, or investors
The Top 10 startups will each be awarded a USD $15,000 grant upon successful business registration in China. In addition, startups will receive 6 months of free office space in Guangzhou and will receive support in setting up a local entity and bank account.
