Six new startups joined our Hardware & IoT accelerator program in India. We’re excited to help them sustainably solve some of the world’s biggest problems through business.

The latest teams to join the Brinc family are representative of our four core investment categories: How We Feel, Where We Live, What We Eat, and How We Move.

As always, it’s rewarding to be able to support a new batch of startups in the areas that we’re most passionate about and believe will drive the most sustainable impact to the planet delivering against our thesis of driving profit with purpose.

Here’s a quick rundown of the companies joining the growing Brinc family in India:

Arcapsis (India) — Arcapsis found its inspiration in the predicament of a mother caring for a child with Asthmatic Symptoms. The inspiration to make something, to help thousands of people for whom Inhaler adherence is one of the biggest challenges. Adherence not only in terms of the inhaler techniques but also in terms of the discipline with which it is used.

Arcapsis is an IoT and Cloud-based Health Care, System Designing, Company; having the capability of combining the Electronics, Mechanical and the Software aspects of Health Care Products. Arcapsis aspires to create world-class technologies, which can be used to ease living for millions and millions of people.

Bagmo (India) — Blood availability in a rural area should be increased and in this regard, Bagmo developed a blood bag monitoring solution. The proposed solution addresses one of the gaps in the current blood supply chain scenario, that is, monitoring of every blood bag unit, end to end using cloud connected devices so that reliability of blood products can be assured. The solution is expected to increase confidence in establishing more blood storage centres and hence tackle the non-availability of blood in rural India.

Enlite Research (India) — Enlite Research is disrupting the traditional BMS/iBMS/BAS/BIOT/BEMS industry with BIOS (Building Intelligence Operating System), an interoperable AI platform combined with our wireless BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) mesh enabled hardware targeted specifically at small and medium sized commercial buildings.

Probus Technoogy (India) — Electricity is an essential requirement for households. Probus Sense Technology (“Wireless Communicable FPI”) that has been awarded by ISGF, 2020 as “Smart Technology of the Year” is coming very handy by utilities in this challenging environment. It is helping utilities to pin-point the fault at sub-station within 30 seconds of asset breakdown and thus reducing the time for restoration of electricity supply by 50%. The O&M department of utilities is working closely with Probus to use different features of the dashboard and seek maximum output from the deployed system.

Muse Diagnostics (India) — Muse Diagnostics is a Medical Device company. Their product Taal Digital Stethoscope enables doctors to screen their patients more efficiently through capturing a patient’s body sounds in high definition and then filtering, storing, sharing and analysing it at a comparable price to traditional non-digital devices. Their solutions are the most effective tools for healthcare students and professionals to learn and upskill their diagnostic capabilities, which positions it as a revolutionary tool in healthcare.

Peer Robotics (India) — Peer Robotics is a Collaborative Mobile Robotics company, bridging the gap between how humans and robots work together. The company manufactures human-centric and adaptable mobile robots for efficient material movement in warehousing, manufacturing, and assembly lines.
