Four new startups joined our Hardware & IoT accelerator program in Bahrain. We’re excited to help them sustainably solve some of the world’s biggest problems through business.

The latest teams to join the Brinc family are representative of our four core investment categories: How We Feel, Where We Live, What We Eat, and How We Move.

As always, it’s rewarding to be able to support a new batch of startups in the areas that we’re most passionate about and believe will drive the most sustainable impact to the planet delivering against our thesis of driving profit with purpose.

Here’s a quick rundown of the companies joining the growing Brinc family in Bahrain:

  • Xeleqt (Philipines) — Xeleqt is the first IOT-powered platform that helps and allows business owners to dynamically manage, mobilize, and match their assets and resources with every customer-demand Through safety protocols and embedded interaction-policies.
  • Iris (Tunisia) — IRIS is building the future of precision beekeeping. The smartbee device is hardware fully equipped with sensing capabilities, specially designed to meet beekeepers needs: efficiency, security and better profitability that comes through sustainability.

We then put all this information into an easy to use portable iPad application to be used on the facility floor with a companion TV app displaying the overall status for the team.
  • Frij (Bahrain) — Frij is a smart refrigerator designed to be compact and placed conveniently at every workplace providing healthy fresh food daily at a reasonable price Frij ensures easy and convenient accessibility to affordable improved lifestyles. Not familiar with the Brinc Accelerator Program?

Brinc is a different breed of venture capital and accelerator platform. Core to our business is the belief that some of the world’s biggest challenges can be solved by entrepreneurs, who we like to call GAME CHANGERS. We believe that deep technology focused startups can fundamentally change how we move, what we eat, how we feel and where we live for the better if they are given the right backing. That’s what we at Brinc believe are here for. To support and mentor founders and their teams from across the world and provide investment to help them grow. We currently operate twelve multi-disciplinary accelerator programs across six countries and have made 144 investments.

For now applications for our Fall 2020 accelerator programs are open.
